Job summary

Dar is seeking a Traffic and Detour Engineer in Riyadh to plan, review, and supervise all temporary traffic management schemes and detours for road and bridge projects. You will ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and smooth traffic operations during construction.

The role requires a civil/transportation engineering background with 15+ years of experience and strong coordination with authorities and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi MOT/RCRC traffic regulations and work zone safety.
• Excellent communication and coordination with authorities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and review Traffic Management Plans and detour designs with design and construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with local standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with traffic police, municipalities, utilities, and client representatives for approvals.
• Supervise on-site contractor traffic management and detour works.
• Maintain records, prepare progress reports, and monitor safety and incidents.
