Job summary

GE Vernova in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain development projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with SQDC goals and business strategy.

You will manage large-scale, inter-business initiatives, oversee budgets, collaborate with CEOs, CFOs, and VP levels, and drive enterprise tollgate standards while promoting the GE Vernova Way and Sustainability Framework across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or College in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or Business.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years of relevant Supply Chain, Lean, or Sourcing experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with and presenting to global stakeholders at senior level.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with occasional more intense travel depending on project circumstances and status.
• MBA or master’s degree in supply chain management or business administration (MBA)
• Strong project management and process improvement skills.
• Results-oriented and ability to energize others.
• Excellent communication (oral/written) experience, working and influencing cross-culturally in large, matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business cases to support business initiatives considering known challenges and changes in the sector and how they relate to the business.
• Exercises control over significant, large-scale and inter-business projects and initiatives, financial accountability for project budgets, and managing interactions cross-functionally with leadership (CEO, CFO, Supply Chain Leader, HR BP, Engineering VP, CIO, etc.).
• Create, deploy, ensure enterprise project tollgate standard work and related methodologies (e.g., checklists, read across, post-mortems, make vs. buy workbooks, and criteria for go/no-go) are used for all supply chain development projects.
• Establish goals and program direction to achieve SQDC, sustainability, and reliability results.
• Provide project management leadership and direction to the commercial, product line, project, engineering and other interfacing functional organizations.
• Ensure the appropriate individuals from the functional teams are included for each project or initiative and interact effectively to achieve business results.
• Effectively communicate and influence partnership programs, interactions, and relationships.
• Provide for the most efficient use of company assets in pursuit of corrective actions or improvements.
• Champion and integrate the GE Vernova Way and the Sustainability Framework into GEV Supply Chain Development standard practices.

The Senior Project Manager will own end-to-end project management for GE Vernova Supply Chain development projects.

They will provide operational oversight and insights into key Supply Chain transforming initiatives (e.g., Transformation, Expansion, Transfer of Work, Restructuring, Mergers/Acquisitions, Divestitures, etc.).

They will propose, manage, and deliver results on significant large-scale and inter-business projects and initiatives that align with business and stakeholder needs.

The Senior Project Manager will serve as a cross-functional leader prioritizing and solving-problems based on voice of the customer and business improvement goals around safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC).
