Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an experienced construction professional to monitor subcontractor planning, safety, quality, and technical activities on a complex project in the Saudi region. You will coordinate and lead subcontractor management staff to align work with schedules and ensure safe execution of methods.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 10+ years in mining/metals processing plants, with strong HV/MV expertise and experience in pre-commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive experience managing E&I scope in large mineral processing plants.
• Previous experience on gold processing plants.
• Previous experience in mining & metals processing plants in the MENA region.
• Extensive experience working with HV/MV equipment, cabling & terminations.
• Extensive experience in pre-commissioning of HV/MV installations and large mineral processing plants.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and directs subcontractor activities, through coordination and instruction of subcontractors' management staff within the area of responsibility.
• Role supports on large projects of high complexity with multiple stakeholders’ involvement.
• Reviews and monitors subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material and equipment requirements.
• Leads the construction operations impact on external interfaces to ensure they coincide with the overall established schedules.
• Monitors installation of materials and equipment to assure conformance with drawings, specifications, vendor, and other requirements.
