Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to support civil, mechanical and electrical/instrumentation packages. The role reports to the Projects Contracts Manager and collaborates with field engineering and project controls for effective contract administration.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-contract duties, payments, variations, claims, and final close-out. Strong English communication and multi-cultural collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years in lieu.
• Experience with civils, mechanical and electrical/instrumentation contracts.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Contract Duties: Prepare comprehensive BoQs and assist in financial evaluations.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to protect client interests.
• Post-Contract Duties: Assess value of on-site work and issue monthly payments.
• Variation Management: Price and assess changes to the project scope.
• Claim Evaluation: Assess financial claims submitted by the Contractor.
• Project Close-Out: Reconcile costs, variations and prepare final accounts.
