Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead construction supervision for hyperscale data centers in the Middle East. You will oversee all structural activities, ensure safety, quality and compliance with international standards and client requirements, and coordinate with diverse teams.

The role requires extensive experience with reinforced concrete, structural steel and heavy-load foundations, plus strong leadership in multidisciplinary environments and FIDIC-based

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• 12–15 years of overall experience in structural engineering, design review, and construction supervision.
• 3–5 years direct experience on Hyperscale Data Centers, Tier III/Tier IV or Mission-Critical Facilities.
• Proven experience supervising reinforced concrete and structural steel structures for data centers.
• Experience under FIDIC-based contracts and international project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all structural construction activities and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, project standards and codes.
• Review shop drawings, ITPs, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineers, MEP, Architects and PM teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review foundations, high-load floor systems, vibration-sensitive installations and heavy-load structures.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
