Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee the construction supervision and delivery of hyperscale data centers and mission-critical infrastructure across the Middle East.

You will supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with project specs and international standards. The role requires 8–10 years in electrical engineering, with 3–5 years in hyperscale data centers or mission-critical facilities, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• PE, CEng, PMP or equivalent preferred.
• 8–10 years of electrical engineering experience.
• 3–5 years in Hyperscale Data Centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Experience with substations, UPS, generators, transformers, switchgear, SCADA, EPMS.
• 3–5 years of Middle East project experience.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NFPA, British Standards and local rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical construction activities per designs, specs, codes and standards.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, method statements, ITPs and technical docs.
• Monitor installation and testing of substations, distribution networks, and power equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Tier III/IV redundancy and mission-critical performance.
• Coordinate electrical works with civil, structural, mechanical, ICT and commissioning teams.
• Support testing, energization, IST, commissioning and handover.
• Participate in inspections, audits, and contractor performance reviews.
• Prepare technical reports and support progress monitoring.
