Job summary

ECEC East Consulting Engineering Company seeks a senior structural reviewer to oversee technical reviews, supervision, and coordination of District Mall – ROSHN structural works, ensuring integrity and compliance with approved designs, specifications and codes.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 10+ years of experience, SBC knowledge, and strong English proficiency to coordinate with architecture, MEP, civil, and infrastructure teams on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of overall relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with a Consultant / PMC organization.
• Strong technical background with ability to review designs, drawings, specs, calculations, submittals, and resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Review structural IFC drawings, shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, method statements, and submissions.
• Supervise reinforced concrete, foundations, structural steel, post-tensioned slabs, and other works.
• Coordinate structural works with architectural, MEP, civil, infrastructure, and other disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections and review WIRs/MIRs.
• Review concrete test results, material certificates, and lab reports.
• Identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, progress, and quality.

Job description

Responsible for the technical review, supervision, and coordination of structural works for District Mall – ROSHN, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality requirements, and applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review structural IFC drawings, shop drawings, calculations, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Supervise reinforced concrete, foundations, structural steel, post-tensioned slabs, and other structural works.
• Demonstrated relevant experience in structural steel works and post-tensioned slab systems on similar large-scale projects
• Review reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, structural steel works, and associated construction activities.
• Review structural RFIs, design changes, technical queries, and contractor proposals.
• Coordinate structural works with architectural, MEP, civil, infrastructure, and other disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections and review WIRs/MIRs.
• Review concrete test results, material certificates, laboratory reports, and structural testing results.
• Identify structural defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities and recommend corrective/remedial actions.
• Review NCRs and verify corrective actions.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, progress, and quality.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, ACI, ASTM, AISC, and other applicable standards.
• Review as-built drawings and project close-out documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum 10 years of overall relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with a Consultant / PMC organization.
• Strong technical background in the relevant discipline, with proven ability to review designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, technical submittals, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong experience in design review, construction supervision, technical coordination, site execution, quality control, and contractor management.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant international codes and standards.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) in the appropriate professional classification.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
