Job summary

Jasara Program Management Company (Jasara PMC) is seeking a Senior Structural Design Manager to lead the structural design delivery for large-scale residential developments in Saudi Arabia. The role supervises external consultants, coordinates with architecture, MEP, infrastructure, and ensures compliance with local codes and project timelines.

You will provide technical leadership, manage design reviews, and support construction-phase activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• PE/CE/ICE or equivalent registration is preferred.
• 15 years of experience in structural design and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design development from concept to construction support.
• Manage external design consultants and engineering partners.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code and international standards.

Jasara plays a key role in supporting the realization of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly in delivering giga-projects and large-scale infrastructure developments.

We are seeking a Senior Structural Design Manager to join JASARA PMC. This role will lead and manage the structural design delivery of large-scale residential developments, ensuring designs meet project objectives, regulatory requirements, quality standards, budget constraints, and construction timelines. The role will oversee consultants, coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, and support the successful execution of residential communities within the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design development for residential projects from concept through detailed design and construction support.
• Manage and review the work of external design consultants and engineering partners.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code, international design standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate structural design activities with architecture, MEP, infrastructure, and other disciplines.
• Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Identify design risks and implement mitigation measures to support project delivery.
• Monitor design progress against project schedules and budgets.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and junior engineers.
• Support value engineering initiatives without compromising quality, safety, or performance.
• Participate in design reviews, workshops, stakeholder meetings, and technical presentations.
• Provide construction-phase support, including RFI responses, design clarifications, and site issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
• Professional Engineering registration or chartership preferred (PE, CEng, ICE, or equivalent).
• 15 years of experience in structural design and engineering.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing large residential or mixed-use developments.
• Strong experience with reinforced concrete, steel structures, high-rise residential buildings, and residential communities.
• Experience working with major developers, engineering consultancies, or giga projects is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, and similar tools.
• Thorough understanding of Saudi and international design codes and standards.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Excellent stakeholder management and consultant management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and value engineering experience.

Preferred Experience

• Large-scale residential master-planned communities.
• Mega and giga projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
• Design management within developer organizations.
• Experience interfacing with authorities and regulatory bodies.
