Job summary

Egis is seeking a detail-oriented Civil/Structural Inspector to join our Riyadh, Saudi Arabia team. You will conduct thorough inspections of civil and structural components on construction projects, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

Responsibilities include inspecting foundations, framing, concrete placement, documentation through reports and photos, and collaborating with engineers and contractors to address issues and maintain project

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and inspection methodologies.
• Excellent report writing and technical communication skills.
• Solid understanding of construction materials including concrete, steel and masonry.
• Ability to organize and maintain detailed inspection documentation.
• Proficiency with inspection software and digital documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive structural and civil inspections at various project stages, including foundation, framing, concrete placement, and finishing work.
• Verify compliance with Saudi building codes, international standards, and project specifications.
• Document inspection findings through detailed reports, photographs, and field notes using both traditional and digital methods.
• Identify deficiencies, non-conformances, and safety hazards, and communicate findings to project management and contractors.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to resolve construction issues and ensure corrective actions.
• Monitor safety protocols and procedures on job sites to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Perform material testing coordination and verification as required.
