Job summary

Lucid Motors seeks a Senior Engineer, Steering & Brake Systems to provide technical leadership across design, development, and production of steering and braking components. You will drive issue resolution, participate in supplier coordination, and mentor teams to ensure safety, NVH, and manufacturability targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field is required.
• 5+ years of automotive engineering experience with steering/brake systems preferred.
• Experience supporting vehicle launches and production operations is required.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities expected.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the plant technical expert for steering and brake components and production build concerns.
• Investigate vehicle build, fit-up, and quality issues; lead root-cause analyses.
• Guide containment actions and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Support prototype, DV, PV, and production builds and track launch issues.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering and manufacturing groups to improve process capability.
