AMAD Hospital is seeking a Speech Therapist to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in both children and adults. The therapist will deliver care meeting international standards in line with national policies.

The role includes managing a caseload, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, promoting services, implementing evidence-based treatment plans, and participating in quality and accreditation

Qualifications

• BSc in Speech-language pathology or related field.
• Valid license/registration to practice from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
• BLS certification.
• Knowledge of KSA Health Regulations.
• International accreditation experience.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience post qualification in a hospital or clinical setting.

Responsabilités

• Develop and uphold therapy service standards and serve as a role model for clinical and operational performance.
• Collaborate with nursing and allied health staff, interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders in program and service development.
• Market and promote the speech therapy service to patients, referrers and the public.
• Deliver patient care aligning with the organization’s mission, vision and values.
• Treat a wide range of speech and language disorders including aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia and language delays.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessments and patient goals.
• Communicate with the care team regarding recommendations and discharge planning.
• Maintain an active caseload as required by service demand.
• Promote a cooperative environment for patient care within the facility.
• Participate in quality management, accreditation processes and hospital programs.
• Lead staff development and educational activities; contribute to hospital programs, policies and competencies.
