Job summary

Datamatics Technologies LLC in KSA is seeking a Data Engineer to build and optimize ingestion, transformation, and consumption workloads on a modern on-premises lakehouse platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Spark development experience, with enterprise data lake/lakehouse implementations and Informatica-based integration solutions.

The role focuses on designing scalable pipelines, implementing Spark ETL/ELT workloads, and enabling analytics through Denodo and related technologies,

Qualifications

Hands-on Spark development experience.
Experience with Iceberg, Informatica, and MinIO storage.
Strong SQL and data modeling knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
Build and optimize Spark-based ETL/ELT workloads.
Develop data models and datasets using Apache Iceberg.
Implement data integration workflows using Informatica.
Enable analytics via Denodo, Starburst, and/or Dremio.
Ensure secure, governed, and scalable data pipelines.
Support batch and near real-time data processing requirements.
Collaborate with Platform Engineers on deployment, integration, and operationalization activities.
Troubleshoot and optimize data pipeline performance, reliability, and scalability.
