Job summary

Client of imploy is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Riyadh to own the full software development lifecycle from concept through deployment. You will work with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver robust, scalable applications and set coding standards.

You will lead architectural discussions, drive best practices in CI/CD, testing, and security, and mentor mid-level and junior engineers while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java, Python, C#, or Node.js) and a frontend framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Cloud and DevOps experience with Docker/Kubernetes; familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality server-side and client-side code.
• Lead architectural discussions and contribute to design documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope and estimate features.
• Write clean, testable, documented code following industry best practices.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and optimize systems for performance, reliability, and security.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
