Job summary

DeepSource Technologies is seeking a Senior IT Security Operations Engineer to protect our enterprise IT and cloud environments. You will bridge infrastructure management with threat detection, incident response, IAM governance, and compliance across Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms.

The role requires 6+ years of hands-on security ops, strong SIEM/EDR experience, and proficiency with core firewalls and IAM controls.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on IT security administration, SOC engineering, or network security operations.
• Proficient with SIEM, EDR, and NGFWs; strong log analysis and incident handling.
• Experience with Windows/Linux servers and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Network Defense: Configure, manage, and audit enterprise firewalls, VPNs, EDR agents, and web proxy controls.
• Security Monitoring & Incident Response: Lead Tier-2/Tier-3 security investigations, analyze SIEM logs, mitigate incidents to limit downtime.
• Identity & Access Governance: Enforce IAM controls, PAM, MFA, and RBAC.
• Vulnerability & Patch Management: Direct vulnerability scans, prioritize patching with IT teams, verify hardening.
• Backup Integrity & System Audits: Ensure secure backups, DR readiness, and adherence to standards (ITIL, ISO 27001, NCA‑ECC).
• Minimum 6+ years of hands‑on experience in IT security administration, SOC engineering, or network security operations.
