Job summary

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh seeks a senior research leader to manage a rigorous, cross-disciplinary program. You will supervise PhD and Master’s students, mentor staff, and coordinate with other research initiatives to advance science and translational impact.

You will develop, publish, and present scholarly work; secure funding, design robust methodologies, and ensure compliance with laboratory safety and hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree PhD, DDS or equivalent degree in scientific discipline relevant to the research field is required.
• Nine (9) years of related experience is required.
• Evidence of scholarly research accomplishment through publications with originality, significance, and impact.
• Role as principal investigator in at least three completed research projects and two ongoing projects.
• Presentations of at least five keynote lectures, invited talks, or oral presentations.
• Academic involvement in education and training activities.

• Develops and optimize scientific methodologies and protocols; analyses and interprets data to draw meaningful conclusions.

• Follows all laboratory safety rules and hospital policies.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Leads and manage complex research studies and experimental Innovation & Research projects.
• Develops and publishes manuscripts in peer reviewed journals to disseminate research findings.
• Develops and optimize scientific methodologies and protocols. And Analyses and interpret data to draw meaningful scientific conclusions.
• Presents scientific results of projects in National and International Scientific meetings, and participates in Research Centre seminars.
• Establish new research proposals and applies for funding and grant.
• Supervises graduate students and trains other staff members.
• Follows all laboratory safety rules and regulations.
• Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures.
• Participates in self and others' education, training and development, as applicable.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education
