Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a QC Inspector for road/highway projects to perform on-site inspections, verify materials and workmanship against specs, and maintain daily reports. You will coordinate with contractors to close NCRs and participate in client inspections, ensuring adherence to ITPs and QC procedures.

Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering is required with 3–7 years of QC experience in road/highway works.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years QC experience in road/highway projects.
• Knowledge of construction materials, testing and standards.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure materials and workmanship meet project specs, codes and standards.
• Inspect road construction activities: earthworks, subgrade, GSB, sub-base, asphalt.
• Verify materials against approved specs and test results.
• Maintain daily inspection reports and checklists.
• Coordinate with contractors to close NCRs and improve workmanship.
• Participate in inspections with client/consultant representatives.
• Ensure compliance with ITPs and project QC procedures.
