Job summary

Atkins Realis Group seeks a Mechanical Inspector to ensure contractor compliance with contract documents and to coordinate daily with teams for documenting and verifying work performed. You will review drawings, specifications, and safety measures, and maintain records of manpower and equipment on site.

The role requires experience in mechanical and transportation projects, construction supervision, and knowledge of building codes. Strong English communication and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and transportation projects is required.
• 7 years of overall experience, minimum 5 years in MEA and construction supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical engineering required.
• Good knowledge of design requirements, mechanical methodologies, and installation processes.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure contractors comply with contract documents through observation and testing.
• Coordinate daily with teams to document and verify work performed and inspect submittals.
• Read and understand package contracts, drawings, specifications, and safety measures.
• Maintain records of contractor manpower and equipment resources.
• Supervise sites and report to Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
• Document activities, locations, reasons, and methods used by contractors.
• Report material delivery and implement site instructions from leadership.
• Apply quality controls and monitor conformance to codes and procedures.
• Monitor health and safety and report violations.
