Job summary

Atkins Realis Group is seeking a Civil Inspector experienced in infrastructure projects. The inspector will monitor contractors' work, verify adherence to specifications and approved drawings, and provide daily reporting to management.

The position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to act independently while collaborating with the wider project team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in the field.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Integrity, flexibility and proactivity.
• Ability to act independently as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspection on all road works in progress and ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications and approved shop drawings.
• Monitor and daily report contractors' progress in all road activities to line management.
• Inspect, check and record that work is being executed in accordance with approved methodologies.
• Check that site instructions are being followed and report findings to RE.
• Check services locations and ensure their protection.
