Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Saudi Arabia seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage financial and contractual matters across multiple work packages for major infrastructure projects in Neom.

You’ll help prepare monthly payments, valuations and final accounts while guiding a QS team to ensure accuracy and compliance with project procedures. Requirements include 10+ years in quantity surveying, 5+ years in infrastructure, Middle East experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Chartered status preferred.
• 10+ years post graduate experience in quantity surveying.
• 5+ years of infrastructure project experience.
• Minimum 3+ years in the Middle East.
• Ability to perform difficult estimating and remeasurement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong understanding of contracts, drawings and specs; QS team leader.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial and contractual aspects of multiple work packages.
• Prepare, record and usually prepare minutes of progress meetings.
• Support financial and contractual matters throughout the work packages.
• Finalize monthly payment certificates with QS assistance.
• Ensure cost and quantity records are accurate and streamlined.
• Advise on measurement procedures and quantities.
• Evaluate unit rates for new work items.
• Record day works and monitor details.
• Advise on contractor resource allocations.
• Prepare financial statements for monthly report.
• Audit payments to contractors.
• Ensure timely and complete valuations.
• Check and record measurements of completed work.
• Coordinate and monitor team activities.
• Prepare Final Account with supporting documents.
