Job summary

Eram Talent seeks a QA/QC Manager to oversee quality across housing renovation and refurbishment works. You will ensure compliance with drawings, project specs, contractual requirements, and codes, from initial site inspections through handover.

You will lead multidisciplinary QA/QC teams, review ITPs, method statements, and quality docs, and drive NCR management and continuous improvement. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years QA/QC experience in construction and building projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a management position.
• Experience in housing renovation, residential refurbishment, or building rehabilitation.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, quality management systems, inspections, NCR management, testing and commissioning, and handover processes.
• Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary quality teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
• PMP, RMP, and Six Sigma certifications preferred.
• Registration with the relevant local engineering authority, where required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan, procedures, and inspection requirements.
• Lead and supervise multidisciplinary Civil, Architectural, Electrical, and Mechanical QA/QC teams.
• Review method statements, ITPs, material submittals, and quality documentation.
• Monitor renovation activities, including demolition, structural repairs, waterproofing, finishes, MEP works, and reinstatement.
• Coordinate inspections, material approvals, testing, and commissioning with the client and consultant.
• Identify quality issues, manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure compliance with approved standards.
• Manage snagging, final inspections, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and project handover documentation.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance and prepare periodic quality reports and KPIs.
