Job summary

ECEC East Consulting Engineering Company in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale real estate development projects from inception to completion within a PMC environment.

The role requires strong leadership, deep technical and commercial acumen, with responsibilities spanning design, procurement, construction, handover, contract oversight (FIDIC), and extensive stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 20+ years total experience in project management
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with a Project Management Consultancy / Consultant firm
• Experience managing large-scale and complex projects
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies
• Strong understanding of contracts (FIDIC preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of real estate development projects (residential, mixed-use, commercial)
• Manage full project lifecycle including design, procurement, construction, and handover
• Ensure objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved
• Develop and implement project execution strategies
• Act as the client’s representative and align with client goals
• Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
• Review and monitor consultant deliverables and contractor performance
• Provide strategic advice on project planning, execution, and risk management
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams across all phases
• Manage communication between client, consultants, contractors, and authorities
• Conduct regular progress meetings and reporting
• Oversee project budgets, cost control, and financial reporting
• Review and approve variations, claims, and contractor payments
• Ensure compliance with contract terms (FIDIC or similar)

The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and commercial acumen to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with client expectations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Delivery

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of real estate development projects (residential, mixed-use, commercial).
• Manage the full project lifecycle including design, procurement, construction, and handover.
• Ensure project objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are achieved.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies.
• Act as the client’s representative, ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.
• Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Master’s degree is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 20 years of total experience in project management.
• At least 5 years’ experience working with a Project Management Consultancy / Consultant firm.
• Experience managing large-scale and complex projects.
