Job summary

Alfanar is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the engineering, coordination, testing, and commissioning of EHV/HV substations (110kV–380kV) in Saudi Arabia. You will drive milestones, manage interfaces, and ensure compliance with SEC/National Grid standards across multiple disciplines.

The role requires extensive experience in high-voltage substations, project management, and successful delivery within schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• PMP preferred.
• SEC/National Grid approval preferred.
• Valid SCE Registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle from design to closeout.
• Manage engineering schedules, deliverables, approvals, and interfaces to support project milestones.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, OEMs, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with SEC, National Grid, IEC standards, and project specifications.
• Support planning, procurement, construction, cost control, risk management, and reporting.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and energization activities for GIS/AIS equipment, transformers, protection, SCADA, telecom, and MV/LV systems.
