Job summary

Responsibilities

• Analyse structural drawings given by clients and consultants
• Develop formwork concepts and engineering solutions in line with project requirements, safety standards, and company systems
• Special formwork design in AutoCAD
• Create formwork design for customer presentations
• Propose the most economical and best technical solution
• Conduct basic static calculations and advanced structural analysis
• Produce material list, offer drawings, and shop drawings
• Assist Sales Engineers with site visits and client presentations
• Prepare and present formwork solutions to clients, including technical explanations and value engineering proposals
• Coordinate the timely delivery of shop drawings as per instructions
• Coordinate with clients for technical issues
• Coordinate with other involved departments
• Consider availability of material in the design stage

Qualifications

• Bachelor s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) for formwork design; Revit knowledge is an advantage
• At least 5 years of intensive experience in formwork engineering (and statics)
• Chinese National with excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin
• Good working proficiency in English for technical documentation and coordination
• Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage a project and its internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to make decisions, take responsibility, delegate, and deliver presentations
