Job summary

Parsons in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Project Cost Control Specialist to join our team. You will support cost-control activities by maintaining budgets and forecasts, monitoring financial performance, analyzing variances, and delivering accurate reports to support project decisions.

Qualifications

• CAF/ACCA qualification or bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project finance, cost control, or related project-support role.
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, financial reporting, change management, and cost reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, PivotTables, and charts.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Basic working knowledge of Power BI.
• Strong analytical, data-reconciliation, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor budgets, allowances, expenditures, and forecasts.
• Establish baseline budgets with a WBS in coordination with the PM.
• Analyze performance, identify variances, coordinate corrective actions.
• Apply Earned Value Management and report EV, EAC, ETC.
• Prepare weekly/monthly cost reports and dashboards.
• Track labor, subconsultants, and other project costs.
• Review subcontractor payments and coordinate invoicing.
• Support billing, collection activities, and stakeholder coordination.
