Confidential is seeking a highly experienced Head of Procurement to lead end-to-end procurement strategies, category plans, and contracting activities in alignment with corporate objectives.

The role requires steering complex negotiations, governance improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Technical teams. A strong leadership track record and at least 15 years in procurement are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in procurement/contract/commercial roles, incl. 5+ years in leadership.
• Strong leadership, analytics, negotiation, and advisory capabilities.
• Detail-oriented with high compliance and risk mindset.
• Ability to drive transformation and manage cross-functional initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and execution of procurement strategies and category plans.
• Oversee procurement and contracting activities in line with policies.
• Review requisitions, tender strategies, and award recommendations.
• Drive closure of audit observations with corrective actions.
• Provide guidance to senior stakeholders on procurement and risk.
• Lead supplier negotiations for optimal commercial/contract outcomes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Technical teams for alignment.
• Champion continuous improvement in governance, efficiency, and digitalization.
• Mentor and develop procurement team to build capability.
• Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and commercial risks.

• Lead the development and execution of procurement strategies, category plans, and sourcing

roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.

• Oversee all procurement and contracting activities, ensuring adherence to approved policies,

procedures, and Delegation of Authority.

• Review and approve complex requisitions, tender strategies, commercial evaluations, negotiation outcomes, and award recommendations.
• Drive the closure of internal and external audit observations, ensuring sustainable corrective actions and strengthened controls.
• Provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders on procurement best practices, risk mitigation,

commercial structuring, and compliance requirements.

• Lead negotiations with key suppliers and contractors to secure optimal commercial and contractual outcomes.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Technical, and other functions to ensure alignment on contractual, financial, and operational requirements.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement governance, efficiency, digitalization, and process maturity.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the procurement team to build organizational capability and ensure high performance.
• Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and commercial risks to support strategic

decision-making.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field.

Master Degree is preferrable
