Al Qadisiyah in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement, drive cost optimisations and governance across the organisation.
You will develop strategy, manage supplier contracts, and mentor the procurement team while partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver value and risk controls. The role covers sourcing, contracting, supplier performance and P2P processes with a focus on compliance and robust reporting.
The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and transforming the procurement function to deliver best value robust governance and operational efficiency across the organization The role will oversee end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing contracting supplier management and P2P processes ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements The role requires strong commercial acumen process discipline and the ability to partner effectively with both operational departments and senior leadership nbsp Key Responsibilities Procurement Strategy and LeadershipDevelop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with organisational goals and cost optimisation targets Lead mentor and develop the procurement team ensuring clear allocation of workload and accountability Establish procurement as a strategic business partner Governance Controls amp ComplianceDesign and enforce procurement policies procedures and approval frameworks Ensure compliance with internal polices regulatory requirements and audit standards Implement robust controls across the procure-to-pay cycle Strategic Sourcing amp Cost OptimisationLead competitive sourcing processes including tendering supplier evaluation and negotiation Deliver measurable cost savings and value improvements across key spend categories Supplier amp Contract ManagementEstablish and maintain a structured supplier management framework Negotiate and manage key supplier contracts on collaboration with legal Ensure all contracts are executed stored and monitored for performance and renewal Stakeholder ManagementPartner with department heads to plan and manage procurement needs proactively Provide guidance and training to non-procurement staff on policies and best practices Risk Management amp ControlsIdentify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies Support the development implementation and monitoring of robust financial controls Reporting amp InsightDevelop procurement dashboards and KPI s lead times costs savings supplier performance Provide regular reporting to senior management Track and Analyse spend to identify opportunities for consolidation and efficiency
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDDegree in Business Finance Supply chain or related fieldProfessional certification required e g CIPS Minimum of 7 years experience including leadership rolesExperience supporting a fast-growing or complex organisation experience within sport or a related industry is desirable Strong knowledge of procurement best practices contract management and supplier negotiationsProven track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements
