Job summary

Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (YASREF) Ltd. invites applications for a refinery engineering professional responsible for providing real-time technical solutions and supporting maintenance while upholding safety, reliability and environmental standards across plant assets.

You will engage with OME teams, participate in troubleshooting, perform design modifications, root cause analyses, and contribute to plant integrity and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Certified as a Professional Engineer from a recognized Engineering Institute.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions to maintain plant assets throughout their life cycle.
• Provide technical support to OME teams during plant maintenance/shutdown or to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare design modifications and design packages for in-house modifications and MOCs; carry out supporting design calculations.
• Make frequent plant visits to discuss operational issues with OME teams for upgrading and maintaining equipment performance.
• Participate in troubleshooting meetings to address equipment and system failures and process abnormalities.
• Conduct research on equipment, processes and systems to troubleshoot performance issues.
• Investigate failures, identify root causes and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence; participate in RCA.
• Update knowledge of industry best practices and participate in professional development.

Education
