Job summary

BEC Arabia in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to develop and manage detailed project schedules for ambitious construction and infrastructure programs aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. You will collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.

Using Primavera P6 and CPM techniques, you will optimize resources, monitor progress, produce progress curves and reports, and mentor junior planners while supporting BIM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in project planning and scheduling within construction or infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong CPM scheduling techniques and SBC regulatory knowledge.
• SCE registration and experience with resource loading, cost loading, and progress measurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and align with project objectives and client requirements.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
• Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays and optimize timelines.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless schedule integration.
• Prepare detailed reports including progress curves, critical path analyses, and resource histograms.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and client standards (ARAMCO and SABIC).
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential schedule impacts and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cost control to align schedules with budgets and forecasts.
• Facilitate regular planning meetings and support BIM adoption to enhance planning accuracy.
• Train junior planning staff and contribute to best practices.
