Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking an experienced Parts Inventory Control Executive to join the FAMCO team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring optimal parts availability across assigned franchises while maintaining inventory levels, stock value, and obsolescence within agreed targets.

This role is critical in supporting business operations through effective inventory planning, stock control, logistics management, and customer order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in a technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain or Inventory Operations within a reputable automotive dealership.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting Commercial Vehicle (CV) and Construction Equipment (CE) businesses.
• Hands-on experience in inventory control, procurement, logistics, and stock management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory control parameters to ensure optimum stock availability.
• Review and analyze system-generated order proposals and recommend necessary adjustments.
• Monitor critical inventory reports and take corrective actions to address stock issues.
• Manage backorders and coordinate with principals and logistics providers to expedite deliveries.
• Process customer orders efficiently and provide accurate delivery updates.
• Control stock aging and obsolescence through proactive inventory management initiatives.
• Coordinate buy-back and disposal activities for slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
• Optimize logistics and freight costs through effective shipment planning and consolidation.
• Manage warranty and inventory-related claims with principals and ensure timely reimbursement.
• Maintain accurate parts master data, pricing information, and supplier records within the system.
