Job summary

Acwa Power is seeking a Paralegal to support the Legal Business Development function in preparing and finalizing conditions precedent to financial close, drafting documents, and assisting in company setups regionally and internationally.

You will collaborate with senior lawyers, review agreements like NDAs, MOUs, and POAs, and support bid and transactional work. Strong English, research and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a recognised training in Law and a bachelor's degree in law.
• 0–3 years of paralegal experience is preferred.
• Strong English written and spoken skills are essential; ability to draft and review documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal research to support senior lawyers, including precedents, statutes, and legal articles.
• Assist in drafting components of transactions using Company templates (NDAs, MOUs, POAs, etc.).
• Support bid preparation from a legal perspective to ensure timely, accurate documentation.
• Draft basics of agreements and contracts for team review and population.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and manage document signing via Egnyte or other platforms.
• Follow policies and procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Perform other related duties as required.
