Job summary

Dr Sulaiman AlHabib Medical Centers is seeking a qualified Optometrist to examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases of the eye and related structures. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, measure visual function, refraction (including retinoscopy) and assist in pre- and post-operative evaluations with ophthalmologists.

The role requires at least three years in hospital or clinical settings, a Bachelor’s in Optometry, and a strong commitment to patient care, accuracy, and continuing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Optometry or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in hospital or clinic settings.
• Proficient in comprehensive eye exams, refraction, and ocular disease management.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dilated eye exams.
• Measure Visual Acuity, color vision, visual fields where appropriate.
• Conduct refraction including retinoscopy and cycloplegia.
• Diagnose ocular conditions and determine appropriate treatment.
• Refer to ophthalmology for surgical cases as needed.
• Coordinate pre- and post-operative examinations with surgeons.
• Educate patients on eye care and medication use.
