Job summary

We are hiring on behalf of a leading offshore marine and construction company to fill the role of Marine Operations Manager (Senior Engineer). You will drive offshore construction and maintenance initiatives, leading pipeline, subsea, heavy lift, and platform projects with advanced marine spreads.

The ideal candidate has extensive leadership experience in offshore EPC projects, marine logistics, and contractor management, with STCW and related certifications valued.

Qualifications

• 8–15+ years of experience in marine operations and offshore oil & gas.
• Offshore construction, pipelay, subsea, dredging and heavy-lift experience.
• Knowledge of marine logistics, vessel management and offshore construction methods.
• Experience managing complex marine spreads and offshore construction vessels.
• Exposure to offshore drilling, production, pipeline and subsea projects.
• Strong leadership, crisis and contractor management capabilities.
• Ability to develop marine execution plans, methodologies and risk assessments.
• Proficiency in marine-related software and logistics tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead marine operations for offshore EPC, construction and brownfield maintenance projects.
• Plan and coordinate offshore pipeline installation, S-lay/J-lay, repair, hydrotesting, commissioning and maintenance.
• Manage dredging and marine construction activities.
• Oversee offshore platform installation, modification, maintenance and decommissioning.
• Coordinate heavy-lift operations involving crane barges and offshore vessels.
• Support subsea cable laying, retrieval and repair activities.
• Manage marine spreads comprising AHTS, PSV, crane vessels and support vessels.
• Coordinate diving operations and subsea intervention activities.
• Develop Marine Execution Plans, methodologies, risk assessments and SOPs.
• Lead contractor and subcontractor coordination and ensure safe offshore execution.
