We’re looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer to join our high‑performing security team supporting one of our major enterprise customers. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role where you’ll represent Penta onsite, lead complex initiatives, and help shape a secure, resilient network environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Take a lead engineering role on major support and implementation projects, guiding and mentoring less‑experienced engineers to ensure successful outcomes.
• Deliver subscription services directly at customer premises, providing expert‑level support and technical leadership.
• Implement best‑practice recommendations across large‑scale infrastructures and develop procedures that minimise service impact.
• Work as part of a highly skilled onsite engineering team, supporting the customer’s network infrastructure while acting as a trusted Cisco representative.

Minimum Qualifications

• 8+ years of security experience, with at least 8 years focused specifically on network security as the primary technical domain.
• Strong communication skills and proven experience engaging directly with customers.
• Expert‑level troubleshooting skills in large‑scale network environments using Cisco security technologies (and ideally multi‑vendor solutions).
• Demonstrated strength in technical account liaison, customer management, and consulting.
• Deep technical expertise in supporting, managing, and troubleshooting:
• Cisco NGFW (FTD and ASA) for firewalling and VPN
• Additional technologies such as ISE, Stealthwatch, ESA, ASA, and scripting (highly desirable)
• Expert knowledge of network security architecture, Cisco routers, firewalls, and a broad range of security products.
