Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a Project Director / Technical Director to lead metro study and design assignments, directing multidisciplinary teams across rail planning, civil, systems, and interfaces. You will oversee feasibility, concept, preliminary design, and tender packages, and coordinate with international centres and subconsultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in metro/rail projects.
• Experience in feasibility, concept design, preliminary design, tender stages.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead metro study and design assignments from feasibility to tender stage.
• Provide technical direction and strategic oversight across design teams.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, and overall performance.
• Coordinate with out-of-country design centres and subconsultants.
• Ensure interface management and quality control across distributed teams.
• Support business development, bid preparation, and client engagement.
