Job summary

JASARA PMC is seeking a Senior MEP Testing & Commission Officer to lead testing and commissioning of MEP systems on major construction projects in Jeddah. You will develop strategies, coordinate with project teams, and oversee functional and performance testing ensuring quality and safety.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and at least 10 years of experience in testing and commissioning MEP systems, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in testing and commissioning of MEP systems on major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their integration in projects.
• Experience developing and executing testing/commissioning strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards for MEP.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive testing and commissioning strategies for MEP systems.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders for testing processes.
• Conduct functional, performance, and integration testing.
• Analyze test results and address issues or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with design/construction teams to resolve technical issues during testing.
• Prepare and maintain test reports and commissioning records.
• Ensure safety/regulatory compliance during testing activities.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff.
