Job summary

KEO International Consultants in Riyadh, KSA, seeks a talented MEP Engineer to join our award-winning team. You will design, coordinate, and support MEP systems for a major indoor arena, ensuring safety, energy efficiency, and reliability in a high-occupancy, climate-controlled environment.

The role requires 7–12+ years in MEP design, strong knowledge of regional practices, and proficiency with Revit/Navisworks. Hybrid work options and ongoing career development are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Typically 7–12+ years of experience in MEP design and delivery of large or complex building projects.
• Experience on sports venues, arenas, public assembly facilities, or high-occupancy developments is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Middle East construction practices, preferably in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Familiarity with local authority approval processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven capability in MEP design coordination and construction support.
• Understanding of high-load event environments and climate-responsive engineering solutions.
• Proficiency with BIM tools such as Revit and Navisworks, and modern digital delivery platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support design, coordination, construction, and commissioning of MEP systems for a major indoor arena.
• Contribute to delivery of a high-profile public venue designed to international standards.
• Coordinate with architecture, structural, AV/IT, and other disciplines.
• Assist with clash detection, interface management, and design integration.
• Ensure compliance with SBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, CIBSE, IEC, and client specs.
• Prepare technical calculations, specifications, and equipment schedules.
• Provide on-site technical support during construction, including RFIs and shop drawings reviews.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
