Job summary

SGS is the world’s leading Testing, Inspection and Certification company, with a vast global network. SGS seeks an experienced Senior Inspector to supervise all inspection activities, ensure qualified personnel, and uphold high standards across projects and operations.

You will review QA/QC systems, conduct site visits, perform root cause analysis, and support inspection methods while maintaining confidential, accurate records. A driving license is an advantage.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 10 years of inspection experience with at least 5 years in supervision on projects/operations.
• Certified ISO 9001 auditor or equivalent; knowledge of ASME, ASTM, API and other standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of inspection disciplines and provide work direction to inspection personnel.
• Ensure trained and certified personnel are available to handle workload.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards; maintain inspection reports and records.
• Conduct site visits to resolve inspection issues and assess service adequacy.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend remedies.
• Provide technical support on inspection methods and procedures.
• Plan, schedule, and report findings in the required format.
• Promote safe work practices during inspections.
