Job summary

A major engineering firm in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager for a significant construction project. The role involves leading mechanical planning, design approval, and site management while ensuring project quality and safety compliance. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, relevant 10+ years of experience, and a PMP certification. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex developments in the GCC region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and project delivery.
• PMP or equivalent certification.
• Experience working on giga projects, theme parks, or large mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Client’s Mechanical PM throughout construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Prepare dashboards, technical reports, and executive updates for leadership.
• Lead mechanical planning and scheduling in alignment with the master program.
• Review and approve all mechanical system designs including HVAC and plumbing.
• Ensure designs address operational performance and sustainability targets.
• Provide technical input during tendering and contractor evaluation.
• Monitor site installation works, ensuring quality and safety.
• Coordinate mechanical activities with other teams for smooth integration.
• Identify mechanical risks affecting cost, schedule, or safety.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and performance verification of mechanical systems.
• Ensure complete mechanical handover including O&M manuals and training.
