Job summary

ABIS is seeking a Planning Engineer specialized in Mechanical disciplines to support our oil & gas projects in the region. You will prepare, monitor and update schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring timely execution and coordination across engineering, procurement and construction teams.

You will identify potential schedule risks, perform progress reporting and schedule analysis to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 software.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering design and construction processes.
• Ability to analyze complex schedules and recommend mitigation actions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco or similar oil & gas clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, monitor and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Interface with engineering, procurement and construction teams to develop detailed work plans.
• Identify schedule risks or delays and propose mitigation actions.
• Support progress reporting and schedule analysis for decision-making.
