Penspen is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Rotating for a major FEED/EPC offshore project in Saudi Arabia. The role requires extensive experience with rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, and packaged systems, and will involve data sheet development, vendor reviews, and new design reviews.

You will lead engineering activities across FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and mentor junior engineers while supporting audits to uphold

• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO and other relevant standards.
• Coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation and electrical disciplines.
• Review vendor documents and ensure timely approval.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning.
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL and design review workshops.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables for quality.
• Support client and internal audits to ensure quality and safety standards.

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer (Rotating) Offshore

Penspen www.penspen.com is looking for an experienced, 12+ Years experience, Senior Mechanical Engineer-Rotating to join our engineering team for a major Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards and experience in major brownfield FEED/EPC projects will be an advantage for the candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the rotating equipment engineering activities for FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases of oil & gas projects.
• Develop data sheets, specifications, and requisitions for rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, turbines, blowers, and packaged systems.
• Review vendor offers, perform technical bid evaluations, and participate in vendor meetings and design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and other relevant international standards.
• Coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation, and electrical disciplines for equipment integration.
• Review vendor documents (GA drawings, datasheets, performance curves, etc.) and ensure timely approval.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and design review workshops.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables for quality and accuracy.
• Support client and internal audits and ensure adherence to project quality and safety standards.

Experience Required:
