Job summary

KEO International Consultants is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Hydraulic Engineering and a minimum of 15 years of experience in wet utilities design and construction observation. The engineer will manage quality issues related to stormwater and irrigation systems as part of a large project management team during the construction phase of a master planned community. Strong communication skills in English and previous experience in the Gulf Region are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years experience in wet utilities design, quality control and construction observation.
• Experience in consultancy is beneficial.
• Prior experience in the Gulf Region is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.

Overview

KEO International Consultants is a planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management firm with offices across the Middle East and beyond. This opportunity is within KEO’s Project Management and Construction Management (PM/CM) Division as a Senior Mechanical Engineer. You will serve as a technical representative on stormwater, sanitary sewers, irrigation and potable water related design issues, field inspection disputes, quality management observation and document review. You will be part of the project management team during the infrastructure construction phase of a large 9,000 unit master planned community in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

• Participate as part of the project management team during the infrastructure construction phase of the project.

• Experience gained within a consultancy is beneficial.
