Job summary

Advanced Petrochemical Company is seeking an experienced procurement professional to manage material sourcing, vendor evaluations, and purchase order processing in a petrochemical environment. You will coordinate with engineering, maintenance and logistics to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with HSE standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in procurement, with SAP Ariba experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in materials procurement, preferably within oil & gas or petrochemical industries.
• Experience using ERP systems (SAP Ariba).

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase requisitions for materials per specifications, delivery requirements and procedures.
• Source qualified vendors, obtain competitive quotations, and perform commercial evaluations for best value, quality and delivery.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and monitor progress; expedite to meet schedules.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, operations, inspection, logistics and warehouse teams to clarify material requirements and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements and ethical procurement standards.
• Review vendor documentation, certifications, and inspection requirements per industry and contractual standards.
• Resolve discrepancies in pricing, quantity, delivery, and invoicing with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier data, and reporting within the ERP system.
• Support supplier performance management and contribute to continuous procurement process improvements.
