Job summary

Alstom in Riyadh is seeking a Supply Chain Planning professional to secure material availability and optimize inventory for project success. You’ll work with procurement, engineering, and finance to ensure timely delivery and alignment with QCD goals.

You’ll define planning parameters, analyze consumption trends, support material changes through the Engineering Change Committee, and drive cash flow improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory optimization techniques, and procurement strategies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and data analysis tools.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
• Experience or understanding of material planning, inventory management, and procurement processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as Work Package Owner on procurement to meet material milestones and QCD goals.
• Analyze inventory consumption to identify trends and improvements.
• Define planning parameters and batch strategies for materials.
• Execute plans to reduce inventory and improve cash flow.
• Create purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering and finance to align planning with project needs.
• Participate in Engineering Change Committee to plan material changes.
• Define material typology to support replenishment strategies.
