Job summary
Alkhorayef Petroleum Company in Saudi Arabia seeks an experienced maintenance engineer to sustain production continuity. You will conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, automation, and mechanical systems, troubleshoot PLC/HMI equipment, and drive continuous improvements in reliability and OEE.
The role requires a relevant engineering degree and at least four years in industrial maintenance, with CMMS/ERP experience and strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Automation & Control, or related.
- Minimum of 4 years' industrial maintenance in manufacturing/production.
- Professional certifications in PLC programming, industrial automation, robotics, or project management are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to improve reliability and OEE.
- Able to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, and instrumentation systems.
- Experience with CMMS/ERP systems, electrical schematics, P&IDs, and maintenance instructions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive, predictive, corrective, and routine maintenance on production machinery and facilities.
- Troubleshoot electrical, PLC, HMI, instrumentation, hydraulic, pneumatic, servo, and electromechanical systems.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Replace faulty components, perform lubrication, alignment, calibration, and testing.
- Develop and improve maintenance strategies to enhance asset reliability and OEE.
- Monitor calibration, spare-parts, and inventory; standardize components.
- Maintain work orders, equipment histories, PM schedules, downtime, and parts usage in CMMS/ERP.
- Support installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of new equipment and automation solutions.
- Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC/HMI and control systems for process stability.
- Implement condition monitoring, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and IoT for proactive maintenance.
- Track KPIs, alarms, downtime trends, and energy use to prevent production disruptions.
- Support CAPEX projects through design reviews, FAT/SAT, and handover.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, IT, QA, and suppliers to sustain reliable operations.
