Job summary

Deepsource Technologies is seeking Senior Linux System Administrators with strong hands-on experience in RHEL and Kubernetes to administer and support an HPC infrastructure. The role focuses on reliability, security, performance, automation and availability.

Key tasks include managing RHEL servers and HPC compute nodes, Kubernetes clusters, and automation with Ansible, Shell, and Python. Rigorous troubleshooting, documentation, and security hardening are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Linux system administration using RHEL.
• Experience in HPC compute clusters is highly preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes administration and cluster management.
• Strong automation scripting experience with Ansible, Shell, Bash, Python.
• Knowledge of system monitoring, patching, and hardening.
• RHCE mandatory; CKA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain RHEL Linux servers and HPC compute nodes.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot Linux OS.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, nodes, and workloads.
• Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Shell, Python, or similar.
• Monitor health, capacity, performance, and availability.
• Support security best practices across Linux and Kubernetes.
• Document configurations and procedures.
• Assist incident resolution and root-cause analysis.

We are looking for Senior Linux System Administrators with strong hands-on experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux RHEL and Kubernetes to administer and support the infrastructure underpinning an HPC environment The role focuses on system reliability security performance automation and availability

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain RHEL Linux servers and HPC compute nodes
• Install configure patch upgrade and troubleshoot Linux operating systems
• Manage and support Kubernetes clusters nodes and workloads
• Perform Linux performance tuning system hardening and troubleshooting
• Monitor system health capacity performance and availability
• Automate infrastructure administration using Ansible Shell scripting Python or similar tools
• Support integration between compute storage networking Kubernetes and HPC platforms
• Troubleshoot complex Linux Kubernetes and infrastructure issues
• Implement security best practices across Linux and Kubernetes environments
• Support incident resolution root-cause analysis and preventive actions
• Maintain system configurations technical documentation and operational procedures

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience as a Linux System Administrator Linux Engineer RHEL Administrator
• Expert-level administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux RHEL
• Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and cluster management
• Experience supporting HPC environments compute clusters is highly preferred
