Job summary

DeepSource Technologies seeks a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join our HPC infrastructure team in Riyadh. You will own end-to-end management of RHEL servers and Kubernetes clusters, focusing on reliability, security, and performance.

You will automate operations with Ansible, Shell, and Python, patch and harden systems, monitor health, and support incident response. RHCE is mandatory; HPC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with RHEL and Kubernetes.
• Strong Linux performance tuning and hardening background.
• Experience in HPC environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain RHEL/Linux servers and HPC compute nodes.
• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and troubleshoot Linux OS.
• Manage and support Kubernetes clusters, nodes, and workloads.
• Perform Linux performance tuning, system hardening, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system health, capacity, performance, and availability.
• Automate infrastructure administration using Ansible, Shell scripting, Python, or similar tools.
• Support integration between compute, storage, networking, Kubernetes, and HPC platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux, Kubernetes, and infrastructure issues.
• Implement security best practices across Linux and Kubernetes environments.
• Support incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Maintain system configurations, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Strong hands-on experience as a Linux System Administrator / Linux Engineer / RHEL Administrator.
• Expert-level administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and cluster management.
• Experience supporting HPC environments / compute clusters is highly preferred.
