About the Role:

As a Senior Legal Specialist, you will provide expert legal guidance to ensure the company’s full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will play a key role in protecting the organization’s interests, managing legal risks, and supporting all business units with accurate, timely, and strategic legal advice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance and protect the company’s rights and interests.
  • Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on policies, procedures, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents including contracts, policies, official letters, and notifications.
  • Monitor relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements impacting company operations.
  • Manage legal disputes and coordinate with external legal advisors and government entities.
  • Support corporate governance practices and assist in internal audits related to legal compliance.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential legal records, contracts, and case files.
  • Conduct legal risk assessments and recommend preventive measures.
  • Represent the company in meetings with external parties, government bodies, and regulatory authorities.
  • Based in a fast-paced corporate environment requiring high attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • May require occasional travel for legal follow-ups or meetings with government entities.
Communication & Working Relationships:

Internal: Legal Team, Senior Management, and Department Heads

External: Law Firms, Government Authorities, Regulatory Bodies, Vendors, and Business Partners

Decision-Making Authority:
  • Authorized to make decisions on standard legal matters and contract reviews in line with company policy.
  • Escalates high-risk or strategic legal issues to the Legal Manager or higher management.
  • Recommends preventive actions and legal strategies to mitigate risks.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law.
  • 3–5 years of experience in legal practice, preferably within the FMCG, Industrial, or Food sectors.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of commercial, corporate, and labor laws.
  • Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and contract management systems.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
