Alfanar's EPC & Project Development team seeks a Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support for renewable energy, power, water and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia and international markets during tendering, contracting and project development.

You will lead contract reviews, risk allocation, disputes, financing documentation and regulatory compliance, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to safeguard Alfanar's commercial interests through the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Legal degree with admission to Saudi bar or local equivalent.
• Experience in EPC/PPP projects and contract negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC forms and risk management.

Responsabilités

• Lead legal support for tenders, RFPs, contracts, risk registers and bid approvals.
• Draft and negotiate EPC, construction and O&M contracts.
• Advise on risk allocation, guarantees, liquidated damages, and termination.
• Negotiate subcontracts and teaming agreements to align with main contracts.
• Support project development, PPAs, land, grid connection and government support agreements.
• Assist with project structuring, financing documents and security packages.
• Advise on disputes, arbitration and litigation proceedings.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi and international laws and regulations.
