Confidential is seeking an experienced Senior Irrigation Engineer to lead design, planning, and optimization of irrigation systems for large-scale landscaping and infrastructure projects.

The role requires strong technical leadership, experience in hydraulic calculations, and ability to drive sustainable irrigation solutions from concept through execution. Collaboration with architects and civil engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of irrigation design experience, preferably in landscaping projects.
• Experience with GCC projects is a strong advantage.
• Strong leadership and ability to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of advanced irrigation systems for complex projects.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, including pipe sizing, pressure zoning, and system optimization.
• Oversee preparation of irrigation layouts, detailed drawings, and design documentation.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with landscape architects, civil engineers, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration.
• Manage design coordination meetings and resolve multidisciplinary clashes.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Support project teams during tendering, estimation, and value engineering stages.
• Evaluate new technologies, materials, and suppliers to improve system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct site visits to support installation, testing, and commissioning of irrigation systems.
• Identify risks and propose technical solutions to ensure timely project delivery.
