Job summary

Saudi Entertainment Projects seeks a Senior Finance Specialist to oversee inventory and fixed assets accounting in line with IFRS and company policies. You will manage asset lifecycles across projects, perform reconciliations, and support audits.

The role requires 2–3 years in fixed assets or financial accounting, IFRS proficiency, and ERP experience (SAP FI). Based in Saudi Arabia, you will contribute to accurate reporting and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 2-3 years in fixed assets or financial accounting
• Strong IFRS knowledge (IAS 16, IAS 36, IAS 38; IAS 2 inventory) and internal controls
• Experience with ERP environments (SAP - FI)

Responsibilities

• Manage full fixed asset lifecycle: creation, capitalization, transfers, depreciation, impairments, disposals
• Monitor AUC/CWIP and capitalization on project completion
• Reconcile Fixed Asset Register with GL and Trial Balance
• Ensure asset classification, tagging, and useful life
• Review CAPEX vs OPEX classifications
• Monitor inventory movements across ERP and warehouse systems
• Perform stock counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations
• Support inventory valuation (IAS 2) and obsolescence/write-offs
• Prepare depreciation, inventory, and related journal entries
• Support month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing
• Perform sub-ledger to GL reconciliations (inventory and fixed assets)
• Prepare management reports and schedules for leadership
• Support internal and external audits; assist with asset verification and discrepancy resolution
